Preface to F. Sanches book
We
are entering new Century, new Millenium. This is not change
of calendar dates only, but a step to a new stage of Humankind
Development. Our world is in the process of global transformation,
we can see impact of this process on our everyday life.
Crash of Communist System - bloodless, instant and totally
unpredictable neither for CIA nor for Gorbachev; ban of
genetically modified food in Europe - victory of natural
ways of living over disastrous artificial constructions
based on mechanistic understanding of Nature Laws; trend
of social focus to natural ways of nutrition, healing, healthy
life-style; slow, but steady trend from chemical drugs to
alternative methods of correction - all these and a lot
of other examples demonstrate shift from materialistic approach
to life to more complex, more holistic and spiritual, combining
Body and Soul, Matter and Consciousness. We are coming to
a new Great Revolution - not in social life, we are fed
with social revolutions in XXth Century - but to Revolution
in our attitude to life, to health, to ourselves. New generation
of people is coming - generation of yang people with the
same bodies as in Ancient Greece or in medieval Europe,
but with modified brains. We can see this trend to modification
in children of 2-3 years old. They are slightly different
from us, and as was demonstrated by study of their brain
activity, they have statistical trend to more coordinated
operation of both hemispheres with partial domination of
the right lobe parts.
And of course, we are coming to a New Paradigm in Science.
Every Century, every Millenium formulated its own vision
of Reality - model, describing our world and its functioning.
This set of ideas and laws is known as Paradigm . In particular,
scientific paradigm - is a set of widely accepted views
and experimental data, describing Reality. In a broadest
sense, a paradigm can be defined as a constellation of beliefs,
values, and techniques shared by the members of a given
scientific community. Some paradigms are of basic philosophical
nature and are very general and encompassing, others govern
scientific thinking in rather specific and circumscribed
areas of research . Looking back to the last five Centuries,
we can see the shift of scientific paradigms practically
simultaneously with beginning of a new century.
During the last three centuries, Western science has been
dominated by the Newtonian-Cartesian paradigm, a system
of thought based on the work of the genius British scientist
Isaac Newton and the French philosopher Rene Descartes.
Using this model, physics has made astonishing progress,
gaining great reputation among all other disciplines. Newton's
mechanistic universe is a universe of solid matter, rested
in an absolute empty space. The distinction between matter
and empty space is clear and unambiguous. Time is absolute,
autonomous, and independent of the material world; it shows
a uniform and unchangeable flow from the past through the
present to the future. The laws of mechanics and initial
conditions totally describe behavior and life pass of any
object - would it be atom, particle or planet. The resulting
image of the universe is of gigantic and entirely deterministic
clockwork.
Another impact on Western way of thinking comes from ideas
of Rene Descartes, who formulated concept of the absolute
dualism between mind (res cogitans) and matter (res extensa),
resulting in a belief that the material world can be described
objectively, without reference to the human being. It was
clear boundary line between Physical World with its objective
Laws and human beings with their psychology, personal and
social behavior. Humans were claimed to be independent observers,
living in the universe with their physical bodies and participating
in its functioning as some mechanical subjects.
In XX-th century physical paradigm changed dramatically.
Works of world genius Albert Einstein and later development
of quantum paradigm not only created the new vision of reality,
but proved their adequacy in tremendous success of technology
revolution, from which results we benefit in our everyday
life . Another great shift came with the works of Nobel
Price winner Ilya Prigogine and other thinkers, who created
the vision of our world as combination of changeable communicating
systems, open to exchange of energy and information with
each other and with the unlimited universe. It was demonstrated,
that the model of independent objects, interacting only
due to the gravity and collisions, is the first stage of
understanding, glance from far away, and the nearer we are
approaching the object, the more subtle details of its complicated
behavior we can see, and the more difficult describing these
details in scientific terms.
The most difficult of all is the understanding of a Human
functioning and a Human Consciousness. XX-th century was
a century of Revolution in Physics, XXI-st century will
be the century of Revolution in consciousness study, study
combining ideas of physics, biology and spirituality.
For both founders of the "Newtonian-Cartesian paradigm"
- Newton and Descartes - the concept of God was an essential
element in their philosophies and world views. Newton was
a deeply spiritual person who had great interest in astrology,
occultism, and alchemy. He was "the last of the great
magicians, rather than the first great scientist" .
Newton believed that the universe was material in its nature,
but he did not think its origin could be explained from
material causes. In Western paradigm a direct logical extension
of the Newtonian-Cartesian model has been kept and developed,
but the image of divine intelligence that was in the core
of the speculations of these two great men disappeared from
the picture. Very pity, but to the biggest extend it concerns
modern biology and biophysics.
For physicist ideas of probability character of any developing
process, of the process existence in a wave and particle
form simultaneously, of non-locality and of bifurcation
- jump-like - development, are quite common and understandable.
In biology all these new ideas only recently were the realm
of some advanced thinkers, some outsiders2,3 . But now in
biological science we are facing the process of emerging
interest to the new ideas, to a new vision of reality -
to a new paradigm. And first of all it concerns science
of humans.
Coming Century in science will be the era of scientific
comprehension of the deep inner laws of human life and its
transformations. In the XX-th century people came to understanding
that material wealth, high money income is desirable, but
not the only condition for happy life - "wealthy people
are crying as well". There are so many other big and
little issues: love, death, health, family, marriage, children,
and taxes
It is very good to be healthy and wealthy,
but this is not the only condition of being happy. And the
new science will come to study of inner terms of art and
biology of happy life.
Very important step in this direction was made in XX-th
century by developing technique of scientific studying Human
Aura. By the word Aura we mean complex of physical fields
and informational relations, associated with physical body
of a human. This is a multilayer shield, that exists around
the body, accepts matter and information from environment
and reflects all processes of physical, psychological, mental
and spiritual levels of particular person.
It was always people gifted with ability to comprehend Auras
(we can't name this ability seeing - they accepted information
by all their organism). They were and are able to make diagnosis
of a physical body, understand psychological situations
and problems, and even forecast the future. But these people
are quite rare. Some spiritual schools advertise lessons
in "Reading Auras". They claim that it is possible
to learn seeing auras after some training. That is true,
but to some extend only. Sometimes, following example of
my friend, Australian professor Dr. Tom Chalko, I offer
this type of training at my workshops. From my experience,
most people can see auras with their eyes after some training,
but without special everyday exercise this weak ability
will be lost soon. Even more than that: as products of our
own time, we rely more on technical devices, than on our
own feelings. Most people of the modern western society
can't imagine their practical activity without technical
devices, such as computer, fax, diagnostic tools in medicine.
This is an important part of our technological civilization.
And every new device creates new vision of reality.
Now a new device came to being- BEO GDV Camera - instrument
for reading Auras. (BEO GDV means: Biological Emission and
Optical Radiation Stimulated by Electromagnetic Field Amplified
by Gaseous Discharge with Visualisation by Computer Processing.)
This is a first instrument in the world, that combines precise
scientific processing and spiritual approach, modern technology
and freedom in interpretation, being based on ideas of Eastern
Philosophy and Western technology . Gas Discharge Visualisation
(GDV) Technique is based on Kirlian effect - physical phenomenon,
first discovered by German physicist Lichtenberg in 1777,
then intensively studied in XIX century by German and Russian
scientists, and accepted by modern world through the work
of Russian researchers family Kirlian. It was demonstrated
big potential of this approach in medicine , , biology and
technique. Due to the modern technology and computer processing
this approach became practical and easy for use.
We have met with Fernando Sanches last year, when he came
to Saint-Petersburg for participation in the International
Congress "Science, Information, Spirit 99". After
some days of communication all our team was impressed by
his deep knowledge, understanding of both western psychology
and eastern holistic approach. In a short time he became
a specialist in using GDV Camera and interpretation of results.
(By now development of GDV Study, creating of the new results,
devices and programs comes much faster than written explanations
of existing techniques). One of the advantages of Fernando
- his ability to explain comprehensive ideas in simple words.
This book is a brilliant example of combination of philosophy,
theory and practice.
GDV Technique has deep scientific foundations , . It allows
to see in real time individual instant reactions to medical
treatment , exercise , stress , and - very important - to
psychological attitudes and thoughts. You can see how aura
of a person reflects the state of consciousness. This feature
opens gates to wide application of the GDV Technique in
different areas, in particular in psychology. (Fernando
Sanches offers his own approach to interpretation of the
GDV data.) New technique, based on GDV, has been developed
in sport medicine, allowing select perspective yang people
and prepare top-level athletes for the competitions. In
medicine, both school and alternative, GDV Technique helps
not only in express-diagnosis of all systems and organs,
but creates some prognosis conclusions. Comparing with other
techniques such as Foll, AMSAT, etc., GDV has some advantages
as follows:
· Does not depend on practitioners skill;
· Creates holistic information on all body systems
and organs in their interconnection;
· Allows to get information on the physical and psychological
state;
· Reflects real-time state of a person and individual
reaction to environmental influences;
· Presents information in visual attractive form
(soon a new interactive program with detailed diagnosis
will be available);
· Safe, sterile, hygienic, needs only fingers for
measurement.
· Save and process information in easy way.
At this stage of scientific development these features contribute
to the common trend in biophysics from the comprehension
of biological objects as solid stable structures to the
perception of their dynamic spatial field essence. That
is why we see our task not as a development of one more
diagnostic instrument, but as a step to a new understanding
of Reality. A lot of scientific institutions, conventional
and alternative medical practitioners from Australia, England,
Finland, Germany, India, Russia, USA benefit from using
this technique now. There are GDV Technologies branches
in London, Madrid, Munich and Chicago. In three years more
than 200 instruments are sold to different countries. We
are sure, that the book of Fernando Sanches will create
a new step in acceptance and popularity of the new holistic
instrumental approach: BEO GDV Technique
