GDV-correction.
As has already been mentioned, the GDV method is an active
one: we apply a dirge pulse and register the reaction.
Special investigations revealed that this reaction has
a neurovascular nature, both local and general. In other
words, applying impulse a microstress takes place, which
results in activation and training reactions. Thus, the
very process of change, being low-energetic, does not
cause direct energetic reactions in the organism, but

This
characteristic was first noticed by the head of physiotherapy
department of St. Petersburg Federal Military Medical
Academy Doctor of Medical Science Prof. G. Ponomarenko.

device in the Ministry of Health of Russian Federation.
Historically
physiotherapy in Russia has been represented by methods
of non-specific influence upon the organism using thermal,
electric, magnetic, and aeroionic effects. Yet in the
beginning of the century high effectiveness of such methods
was demonstrated by treating various diseases. Recently
