Excerpt from paper by Dr. T. Chalko:I asked
Prof Korotkov if I could do some simple mental exercises (meditation and concentration)
during the appointed time. In addition to a quick standard procedure of taking 10 aura
shots for every finger, we spent 10 minutes recording my aura during my meditation, took a
short break and then recorded my aura for 7 minutes during concentration. Recordings were
made in one minute intervals.
When Prof Korotkov processed the data on the computer, to my amazement, we noticed
significant systematic changes to my aura, indicating dramatic improvement in my
bio-energy field.
According to my understanding of principles of Kirlian health diagnostics from Prof
Korotkov comments as well as his book, our results indicated that I could greatly
intensify healing processes in my body by performing simple mental exercises.
It is commonly known, that the mental state of patients has significant effect on their
recovery. Especially promoting a ''positive thinking'' and/or constructive attitude was
found very helpful by many medical practitioners.
The aim of this article is to present a method of quantifying the effectiveness of
selected processes of the mind on the healing process and establish what kind of mental
exercise has the most beneficial influence on healing processes within the body
To obtain instantaneous quantitative measure of how human mind influences healing
processes, Prof Korotkov measures changes in the bio-energy field using the Gas Discharge
Visualization technique (GDV) which is known as a Kirlian effect.
Distribution of human bio-energy field, commonly known as aura, has been studied for
over 100 years using the Kirlian effect devices. Modern computerized Kirlian equipment
utilizing a CCD camera, recently developed in St. Petersburg by Prof Korotkov and his
team, now available in U.S. through Energy Works, provides instantaneous, repeatable and
reliable results, enabling us to obtain a series of images of the bio-energy state during
mental exercises.
Following mental exercises have been performed and are reported below: Meditation
exercise, described in section 4 Concentration exercise, described in section 5
Images of the bio-energy field have been recorded in one minute intervals and several
types of image processing techniques were applied to evaluate the energy levels and the
degree of its fractal distribution.
Meditation exercise
Meditation is an exercise that allows thoughts to settle naturally. I have been
practising various flavours of meditation everyday over the last 3 years.
For simplicity, Prof Korotkov recorded bio-energy field around one finger
only (fore finger of right hand), which enabled me to continue meditation without
interruption. Prof Korotkov told me, that changes in bio-energy field of one finger are
representative for all fingers and therefore for the entire body. 9 images of the
bio-energy field recorded in regular one minute intervals are presented in Fig.2, the
first image on the left indicates the initial state.
Fig.2 Changes in bio-energy field around right hand forefinger during
meditation
From the images in Fig.2 it can be seen, that the bio-energy field level increases with
time. Also, initial ''gaps'' in bio-energy field gradually close, indicating that the
mind-body state approaches more ''harmonious'' way of functioning. However, the degree of
fractal distribution of the bio-energy field remains high.
Concentration exercise:
As a concentration exercise I have chosen the exercise which aimed to practice the
communication between two hemispheres of the brain. The exercise
is briefly described below. I was observing two circles with perpendicularly drawn
diameters, presented in Fig. 3. This picture was located 2 meters away from me on a wall
at the eye level.
By changing the focus and concentrating, I aimed to see one circle with a
perfect cross in the middle between the two. Then I concentrated, trying to maintain the
cross continuously for several minutes. Since each eye is connected to different
hemisphere of the brain, the cross, synthesized by the brain is the evidence, that both
hemispheres communicate with each other to achieve such synthesis.
Fig.3 Image for concentration exercise
I had been practising this exercise 5 minutes each day for about a week before this
experiment.
Again, for simplicity, Prof. Korotkov recorded bio-energy field around one
finger only (middle finger of the right hand), which enabled me to continue the
concentration exercise without interruption. Eight images of the bio-energy field recorded
in regular one minute intervals are presented in Fig.4. image on the left indicates the
initial state.
Fig.3 Changes in
bio-energy field around right hand middle finger during concentration
From the images in Fig.3 it can be seen, that the bio-energy field level increases with
time. Also, initial ''gaps'' in bio-energy field gradually close, indicating that the
mind-body state approaches more ''harmonious'' way of functioning. The degree of fractal
distribution of the bio-energy field is reduced.
6. Comparison of results
Comparison of results was accomplished by calculating two quantitative coefficients of
the bio-energy field for each image:
