Can Oral chelation provide the same benefits as IV chelation therapy?
Oral chelation provides some but not all of the benefits of IV therapy. IV therapy has a direct and powerful effect on the body almost instantaneously. An intravenous session usually is administered over a four hour period with a dosage of about 1500 mg- 3 grams. The number of treatments necessary depends on the individual, generally somewhere between 20 and 50 sessions. Candidates for IV chelation are people that have been diagnosed as having atherosclerosis, heavy metal poisoning or anyone else who has symptoms related to lack of blood flow or heavy calcification of tissues.
Oral chelation is not absorbed very well, only about 3-8% of the EDTA is absorbed through oral administration as opposed to 100% being absorbed intravenously. Therefore the time and dosage required to achieve the same benefits with the oral form is different.
Oral chelation can be used as:
| A preventative measure to avoid complications and diseases that result from heavy metals and calcification | |
| Preventative measure to prevent clots from forming, reducing your chance of a heart attack | |
| Lowering of blood cholesterol | |
| Helps to thin the blood | |
| Aids in reducing lipid peroxidation | |
| Contributes to the protection of the body against certain carcinogens, pathogens and other toxins that can reduce our quality of health |
Oral chelation is also very useful for those people who have completed an IV course and want to stay on a maintenance program. It is also useful for those people who, for whatever reason cannot tolerate the invasive procedure of IV chelation, or for those who's IV treatments are interrupted. It is not meant however to replace IV chelation therapy for those people who are symptomatic of serious disease.
Why is there garlic in our EDTA formulation?
Garlic is included because garlic is a powerful natural chelator. It has the ability to chelate heavy metals such as lead and mercury. It has also been shown to reduce triglyceride and cholesterol levels and raise HDL levels. It works synergistically with EDTA to carry heavy metals and calcium from the body.
Some other natural chelators are Vitamins A,E, C, selenium, cysteine, methionine, glutathione peroxidase and others.
Are there any side effects with oral chelation?
Side effects are few with oral chelation, some people may experience mild stomach upset, diarrhea, dull headaches.
Is there anybody who should not take oral chelation?
Chelation is naturally taking place within your body on a daily basis from many foods that we eat, so everybody is benefiting from some chelation. However, pregnant women and people with kidney disease should check with their physician before starting a chelation program.
Will it interfere with any other drugs
No, EDTA is compatible with pharmaceutical drugs including the currently widely used calcium blockers. EDTA has been widely used as a stabilizer in foods so it has a very safe record.

Dosage:
60- 60 mg capsules, take 1-4 capsules throughout the day. We use the highest quality gingko leaf that has been harvested pesticide free. The only added ingredient is rice flour used as a filler.
What is Gingko Biloba?
The Gingko tree is one of the oldest living species on the planet. It has flourished unchanged for over 150 million years and in fact, they are so resistant to disease, pollution and old age that one tree survived the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. It has been used in Chinese medicine for over 5,000 years. The leaves and fruit of the Ginkgo tree contain a variety of phytochemicals which have a wide range of clinically proven benefits. Ginkgo extract tends to concentrate itself in the brain tissues and has many beneficial effects on brain function, especially those associated with aging.
What does it do?
| Enhances cerebral blood flow; Gingko significantly increases blood flow to the brain. Our cells need a constant supply of blood to carry oxygen and nutrients into the cells and wastes out of the cells. Ginkgo extract has been found to improve blood flow to the brain in both healthy and diseased damaged areas thereby improving cognitive function, memory, alertness and concentration. | |
| It also inhibits Platelet Activating Factor; Platelet activating factors are compounds that activate certain immune cells which enhance the blood clotting process. Excess PAF's however can be formed by chronic stress, a high fat diet and allergies. Excess PAF's's in the blood can interact with our normal platelets causing them to aggregate and stick together causing blood clots, free radical production and the formation of plaques on the arterial walls. This may create conditions that lead to heart disease, stroke and other circulatory problems. Multiple studies have shown that Gingko Biloba is very effective in preventing PAF'S's from binding with platelets. | |
| Fights Free Radicals; Gingko Biloba protects cell membranes in the tissues and the brain against free radical damage including; chromosomal damage caused by radiation, tissue damage to tissue in spinal cord injuries due to lipid peroxidation, cellular damage to the retina due to injury, diabetes and other conditions. | |
| Other benefits of Ginkgo biloba; ginkgo has helped improve conditions such as vertigo (dizziness; equilibrium disorders) tinnitus (ringing in the ears) It also helps to increase and utilize the uptake of oxygen and glucose in tissues throughout the body. It improves peripheral arterial insufficiency (restriction of blood flow to the legs and other extremities) and further helps PAF related conditions such as asthma and allergies. |
Are there any side effects?
No there are no serious side effects with Ginkgo biloba. Dosages may vary depending on the individual.

90- 750 mg capsules (derived from molasses)
Dosage:
1-3 capsules daily in between meals or at bedtime.
Other ingredients: silicon dioxide & magnesium stearate (anti-caking agents)
What is Glutamine?
L-Glutamine is an amino acid that is derived from glutamic acid (glutamate) It is not an
essential amino acid but rather it is synthesized by the body from arginine, ornithine and
proline. It is abundant in both animal and vegetable foods but under stressful conditions
the body may not be able to synthesize enough of it for optimum effects.
What is it used for?
It has been shown to have positive benefits for maintaining intestinal function. It stimulates the production of mucin which is the tissue that lines the intestinal walls, helping to maintain the structure and function of the gastrointestinal tract. It has also been shown to improve muscle cellularity acting as a direct"food" for cells in need of repair which helps to reduce gut permeability, inflammation and sensitivity to some foods which can irritate the digestive system. Healthy intestinal walls help prevent the transport of bowel organisms into the lymph nodes and bloodstream, thereby helping to prevent long term allergic reactions by producing a state of low tolerance. Inflammation and irritation of the intestinal tract also upsets the immune function of the gut.
Other facts about Glutamine
*Glutamine is the only amino acid that is metabolized in the brain. Glutamine crosses the
blood brain barrier and is converted to glutamic acid. Glutamic acid is essential for
neutralizing ammonia metabolic waste from protein breakdown. *Glutamine is also a
precursor for GABA (gamma aminobutyric acid) which is an inhibitory neurotransmitter which
has both soothing and calming effects.
*Glutamine is a growth hormone inducer at dosages of 2 grams per day.
*Glutamine has also been shown to reduce both alcohol and carbohydrate cravings and is
used for this purpose in many clinics. ( dosages of 1-2 grams daily)
Are there any side effects?
There is no known toxicity, excess glutamine is removed from the blood stream by the liver.

What is it?
Green tea is the second most widely consumed beverage in the world. It has been used for its medicinal properties in China and Japan for centuries. Reports from China and Japan show reduced cancer rates in areas that consume large quantities of green tea. Research has suggested that it is the active compounds of the plant called polyphenol catechins that are responsible for Green tea's multi-faceted protective benefits. The most abundant and most potent of these catechins in green tea are called Epigallocatechins(EGCg). When looking for a high quality green tea extract one should look for the amount of EGCg's that it contains
What is the difference between Green tea and Black tea?
Simply put, green tea is picked and dried while black teas such as Earl Grey, Orange Pekoe etc. are picked then crushed before drying and allowed to ferment. The catechins get oxidized into theaflavins or thearubigines in this fermentation process. This fermentation process also changes the color of the tea from green to black. Black teas retain some of their anti-oxididant properties during the fermentation process but not as much as the green teas.
What are the benefits of green tea?
| Antioxidant characteristics- Green tea has been found to be as powerful of an antioxidant as BHT (they also work synergistically with other antioxidants such as vitamin E and vitamin C. | |
| May play an important role in cancer prevention- laboratory experiments with animals have shown that tea polyphenols have positive effect on experimentally induced cancers. There is a strong link between oral consumption of green tea extracts and protection against skin tumors as well as stomach, esophagus, duodenum, pancreas, liver, breast and colon carcinogenesis | |
| May reduce cholesterol levels- laboratory studies on animals showed a significant decrease in LDL levels and an increase in HDL levels with oral administration of green tea catechins (polyphenols) | |
| Has antibacterial properties- has been found to completely inhibit the growth of oral bacterium which causes gingivitis, a leading cause of periodontal disease. |
Are there any side effects?
No, green tea is perfectly safe and has been consumed for hundreds of years in large quantities.

What is Lipoic acid?
Lipoic acid is an antioxidant that is considered a conditionally essential antioxidant meaning that our bodies do make small amounts of it but most of us do not make enough for maximum health, therefore we need to provide our body with it either through foods (it is found in red meats) or supplementation. Dr. Lester Packer who is a leading lipoic acid researcher believes that lipoic acid is the "ideal antioxidant" because both lipoic acid and its metabolite, dihydrolipoic acid, meet all the criteria for ideal antioxidants. This means that they can:
| Neutralize free radicals | |
| Be easily absorbed and used by the body | |
| Be highly concentrated in both cells and extracellular fluid | |
| Be capable of enhancing the effects of other antioxidants | |
| Chelate free metal ions | |
| Promotes normal gene expression |
What Does it do?
| Helps reduce blood cholesterol- Lipoic acid provides antioxidant protection for LDL (low density lipoproteins) When LDL is damaged by oxidation or free radicals it eventually ends up as fatty deposits on the arterial walls which can lead to cardiovascular disease. | |
| Plays a role in controlling blood sugar- at dosages of 300-600 mg per day Lipoic acid has shown significant results in lowering blood sugar levels while increasing glycogen (stored energy for muscles) in muscles and the liver. | |
| Helps improve muscle strength and energy levels- Lipoic acid increases glucose uptake and utilization by muscle cells and decreases glucose uptake by fat cells. Increased energy production in the muscles results in the ability to work or exercise longer. | |
| Helps improve memory-Because of its powerful antioxidant properties, Lipoic acid protects the mitochondria of the cells in the brain and the central nervous system. These cells are very vulnerable to oxidative damage because of their high oxygen consumption. Animal studies have shown that Lipoic acid has a positive effect on memory. | |
| Chelates heavy metals- lipoic acid has the ability to chelate many metals (iron, copper and toxic metals such as cadmium, lead and mercury) in the blood stream. (Chelating means that they "grab" metal atoms that are free in the blood stream). These free or unbound ions when found in excess can be harmful as they act as oxidants. | |
| Inhibits Glycation- Glycation is the process which forms sugar damaged proteins, this happens when sugars react with collagen which is a major protein found in the skin, blood vessels and connective tissues. Glycation damage is one of the factors responsible for accelerated tissue aging. | |
| Dual Solubility- Lipoic acid is unique in that it is both fat and water soluble, This enables it to enter all of the body systems being able to move freely throughout the blood and within cell and nuclear membranes. | |
| Enhances the effects of other antioxidants_ Lipoic acid has the ability to recycle other antioxidants such as Vitamin E, Vitamin C, and Glutathione after they have neutralized free radicals. It can also substitute for them if they are deficient in the body. |
Is it safe?
No studies have shown any adverse side effects with Lipoic acid. It has been used for over 3 decades at dosages of 300-600 mg/day to treat diabetic neuropathy. Diabetics will have improved glucose utilization and should therefore monitor their blood sugar level closely. Mild side effects such as skin rash or upset stomach may occur in some people. Lipoic acid should not be used by pregnant women.

120 -500 mg capsules
Each capsule supplying 100 mg of elemental magnesium from magnesium aspartate (aspartate is known as a mineral transporter, aspartate is the salt form of aspartic acid which is a nonessential amino acid)
Other ingredients:
Silicon dioxide as a filling agent
Dosage:
take 1 capsule 4 times per day- Use with our Personal Radical Shield for best results or in conjunction with the garlic EDTA to prevent magnesium deficiency.
What is it?
Magnesium aspartate is one of the most absorbable forms of magnesium (the other form that is highly absorbable is magnesium citrate) Decreases in magnesium levels have increased as more Americans are eating processed food, higher amounts of calcium and vitamin D, alcohol consumption and vegetables and fruits grown in soils that are deficient in minerals.(most all magnesium comes from vegetable sources with the exception of fish)
What does it do?
Magnesium plays many vital roles in the body including:
| Magnesium can help reduce cardiac arrhythmias (variations in heart rate) | |
| Relaxes skeletal muscles and smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract and blood vessels. | |
| Helps to regulate electrical impulses across the cell membranes, thus allowing nutrients to pass In and out of the cells | |
| Plays a role in carbohydrate and protein metabolism ( by activating specific enzymes needed for this purpose). | |
| Because of it's ability to relax and dilate coronary arteries, magnesium is important in preventing coronary artery spasms which are a factor in heart attacks. | |
| Magnesium is a principal mineral of the bones and teeth. 60-65% of our total magnesium is stored there. Magnesium helps to prevent dental caries by holding calcium in tooth enamel. | |
| Because of its muscle relaxing effects, magnesium is helpful in alleviating menstrual cramps as well as irritability, anxiety and insomnia. | |
| Acts as a catalyst that transfers the last phosphate molecule to the ATP cycle | |
| Magnesium is needed in the production and function of DNA. |
Are there any side effects of taking magnesium?
No, toxicity due to magnesium intake is virtually unknown. Generally we do not get enough magnesium in our diets and deficiency is more common. The current RDA for magnesium is about 300-350 mg per day for adults. Many feel that this should be doubled to about 600 mg due to our current diets and depletion of the soil.
Note:
Those people with impaired renal function need to monitor their amounts of magnesium due to the kidneys loss of ability to excrete excess minerals.

MCT 32 fluid ounces
Dosage:
take 1-3 tablespoons per day substituting other fat in your diet.
What is it?
MCT oil (or medium chain triglyceride) is a thin, colorless, and tasteless dietary
oil. It is extracted from coconut or palm oil and has nearly all of the positive points of
both saturated and unsaturated fats while having none of the negative points. MCTs do not,
however, contain the essential fatty acids (EFAs), so you need to get your EFAs somewhere
else, for instance, by eating fatty fish or using MemBrain Essentials. MCTs can be used as
a food oil in cooking except for high temperature cooking such as deep frying.
| MCTs won't oxidize into carcinogenic peroxides, like most cooking oils do. | |
| MCTs won't raise LDL (bad cholesterol) like many saturated fats do. | |
| MCTs may even raise HDL (good cholesterol) levels | |
| MCTs won't make you fat. Very little MCTs get stored in fat cells. | |
| MCTs may enhance growth hormone release. | |
| MCTs trigger thermogenesis. | |
| MCTs help stabilize brain waves. | |
| MCTs help stabilize blood sugar levels; they help with hypoglycemia | |
| MCTs convert to energy twice as fast as regular oils -- great for body builders. | |
| MCTs are antibacterial; they help stabilize the GI track. | |
| MCTs metabolize without bile acids. | |
| MCTs have lower caloric content than other oils. | |

Why should you take natural progesterone?
If you are on hormone replacement therapy, taking estrogen replacement only, you should consider adding natural progesterone to your regime. It has been thought in the past that replacing estrogen alone after menopause will restore the health of the bones thus helping to prevent osteoporosis. Although estrogen can slow the progression of bone loss, studies have shown that it is progesterone that is actually responsible for building new bones.
Estrogen replacement alone may increase your risk of endometrial uterine and breast cancer as estrogen stimulates cell proliferation in uterine and breast tissue. Progesterone plays a balancing role with estrogen keeping this potentially harmful cell growth in check, helping to reduce the risk for uterine cancer.
If you suffer from hormone related migraines it is most likely due to estrogen dominance. Estrogen causes dilation of the blood vessels which can be a contributing factor. Progesterone helps to restore vascular tone, counteracting the dilation. If you are a PMS sufferer, you may have a hormonal imbalance with estrogen being the dominant hormone. You can use natural Progesterone to help counter-balance this and alleviate some or all of the symptoms.
Why is Progesterone-DP in cream form?
Progesterone is a small fat soluble molecule which can be easily absorbed through the skin. It is initially absorbed into the fat layers under the skin. From there it is diffused into the capillaries where it then enters into the blood stream when needed. This makes transdermal progesterone 100% bioavailable to the body. In contrast, oral supplementation of progesterone has to be taken in very high dosages to compensate for the almost 90% which will be excreted by the liver.
Are their any side effects?
Because natural progesterone is identical to the body's own progesterone there are no known side effects at physiological dosages (20-40 mg/day) Very large dosages can result in feelings of sleepiness.

120- 350mg capsules.
Dosage-1-4 capsules daily with meals
Ingredients- quercetin dihydrate, silicon dioxide (anti-caking agent)
(the quercetin in our product is derived from onion skins)
What is quercetin?
Quercetin falls into a group of compounds called bioflavonoids. Bioflavonoids are substances that are related to ascorbic acid and are usually found in foods along with vitamin C such as in the rinds of citrus fruits, grapes, buckwheat and in vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, broccoli and onions.
What does it do?
Quercetin has been shown to help decrease allergic reactions in several ways. It helps
to stabilize mast cells and basophils (these are histamine releasing cells which promote
allergic reactions) Quercetin also helps to inhibit the synthesis of enzymes that cause
inflammation such as lipid peroxidase. Because of its direct action on the inflammatory
process, quercetin can be helpful for many conditions
where inflammation is a key symptom. (Ie: bursitis, arthritis, asthma etc.)
Other benefits of quercetin:
| As with other bioflavonoids, quercetin helps to reduce the permeability of the capillary cell wall. | |
| It is an anti-mutagen, helping to block destructive changes within the cell, helping to prevent against abnormal cell growth. | |
| Quercetin increases the effectiveness of vitamin C. |
Are there any side effects?
No, quercetin is found in many foods that we eat and there are no known side effects. It can be taken with any medications.

| And much more |
What does it do?
Helps to rejuvenate the endocrine system by replacing all the significant endocrine
components including the thyroid hormones T1, T2, T3, and T4. (Note that all synthetic
products leave out T1 and T2 because they assume [incorrectly, we think] that these
hormones are unimportant.)
What is the Endocrine system?
The endocrine system is made up of the following glands: thyroid, hypothalamus, pituitary, adrenals, and either the ovaries or testicles. This system helps to maintain the health and balance of nearly every function in the body. The word "endocrine" was originally used to describe glands whose secretions are carried by the blood stream to distant places where they have their action, rather than being locally active.
Can ThyroPlex be taken with other thyroid supplements?
Yes, unless they are diagnosed as having a "brittle" condition. "Brittle" means that the amount of supplements given to them by their endocrinologist or doctor must be exact.

One ounce bottle containing 60 servings of 20 drops each. Every 20 drops (1/2 dropper) contains 2.5-mg of yohimbine, which is the active ingredient contained in this herb in a base of vegetable glycerin.
Dosage:
Put 20 drops (1/2 dropper full) under the tongue and hold for sixty seconds before
swallowing.
History:
This tonic is extracted from the select bark of West Africa's Corynanthe Yohimbe tree.
For centuries tribes in this region and the nearby West Indies have used a tea made from
the inner bark of this tree in fertility rituals.
What does it do?
Yohimbe stimulates erections in men and enhances libido and physical energy in both
men and women. It also has thermogenic properties meaning that it elevates body
temperature and burns off fat (see our product called DHEA ThermoPlex which contains
yohimbe.)
How does it work?
Yohimbe works because it is an alpha adrenal blocker. This means it blocks one kind of
receptor known to suppress adrenal activity. Thus yohimbe stimulates the adrenal system in
a very specific way. It also enhances acetylcholine release in the brain.
Standardized:
Most (or all) other yohimbe products vary in strength. Even within one brand, the
potency may vary from batch to batch. Our Yohimbe Tonic contains a standardized extract.
We make every batch extra strong, analyze it with HPLC, and dilute it down until it is at
the standardized strength. We've set the standard at 2.5-mg active compound per 20 drops
of extract. This is the dose of many of the prescription yohimbe hydrocloride tablets.
Precautions:
Yohimbe may slightly increase blood pressure. If you have a blood pressure condition
that is not fully controlled do not use this product except with a physician's
supervision. Keep out of reach of children.
