Timing System: If you are going into the tank business,
you will need things that are not necessary for those with a personal tank. You can have
them though. In a public place, floaters want privacy. A private room with its own shower
is choice. Once the floater enters the room and closes the door, no intruders are allowed.
All communications are made by some non-intrusive method. This gives the floater the
frredom to get in and out of the tank when they want with no concern that someone may walk
in on them.
This system protects the floateršs privacy artfully. It allows separate
electrical systems to be switched on and off automatically. You can turn on a cassette to
signal the end of a float. You can begin cleaning the tank by switching the filtration
system on while the floater is showering, and you can use this timing system for a home
tank as well.
The system includes a controller/timer and 2 remote switches, one for a
low wattage device like a tape player and the other for a higher wattage device like the
filtration system. If additional switches are required, more can be added.
Floater Comfort Control: Allows the ambient temperature
to be changed so that different temperature needs can be satisfied quickly. A
sophisticated device that can be operated from inside or outside the tank.
Interior Light: The main purpose of the interior light is
to ameliorate someone's fear of the dark.
Many first time floaters have some fears before using the tank. The fears
are usually labeled as fear of darkness or of drowning, claustrophobia and many others. We
address these fears in the orientation we give to each new floater and we let them know.
Two-Way Communication: There are some research and
psychotherapeutic applications for this. Some therapists and researchers work with their
clients verbally while the client is floating in the tank. This is the system to support
that application.
Pump/Filter Box: An esthetically pleasing enclosure for
your filtration system. It is actively vented when the Filtration system is turned on.
This allows the pump motor to remain cool if run for long periods in this enclosed space.
Disposable Earplugs: Many first time floaters use
earplugs. Some people who use them have a history of ear problems, or the shape of their
ear canal lets water trickle far inside the ear resulting in an uncomfortable sensation.
It is better for a floater to discover that they don't need earplugs when they have them
than to have someone want them and not have them.
Video Training Tapes: At last, video tapes for people who
want to know about or consider getting into the tank business. It's as if Glenn and Lee
Perry are in the room with you talking about floatation tanks, sales, centers, promotion,
shipping and service. There really isn't any other information available that is specific
to this business. these tapes are specific to this business. No others need apply.
Ozonator or UV Sterilization Systems: These are systems
that clean your tank minimizing the use of chemicals. Each of these is a unit that is
attached to your filtration system. When you turn your filtration system on you turn these
on as well.
Video Capability: Allows for installation of a video
monitor at the top of the tank so a floater can see videos while floating. We install the
opening at the factory. We supply a cover for the monitor so no light creeps into your
tank whether you are using the video or not. A 13" monitor is ample size. You supply
your own 13" monitor and a VCR. Allow 7 weeks for delivery of this option.
Tanks for the Memories by Dr. John Lilly and
E.J.Gold $12.50 A new book. A great book.
Anything Else: Ask for anything you would like in your
system. We may have forgotten to list something, or you may be inventing something new or
it may be something we have been thinking about and would like to develop, or it may be
none of the above. Let's talk.
